This paper presents an outline the dissertation aimed to compare individuals attitude to filling out forms, and the difference between online and hand written forms. The aim is to illustrate that the psychological importance of the forms differ radically between electronic and handwritten communication where the former is deemed as informal, hence the accuracy of these forms is poor. The outline of an academic literature review is provided, as is the research methodology. The data will be collected through qualitative research techniques, review of the literature, experimental techniques to gauge responses to online and paper forms, and semi structured interviews to review the respondent’s perceptions, which will connect to the experiment. This is followed by findings, discussion and conclusion.
