In this dissertation I will be looking at whether an agent who has a weak-will and thus acts incontinently, can be held morally to blame for his (incontinent) actions. In answering this question I will draw heavily from the work of Aristotle in his Nicomachean Ethics, to show that a weak-willed agent has a lack of moral development, for though he possesses the knowledge of what is the better act to perform, he does not use this knowledge, and so performs the inferior action.
