The dissertation examines customer perceptions and behaviour towards the telecommunication products and services in Saudi Arabia (SA) conducting a case study of Saudi Telecom Company (STC). Literature is reviewed on the competitive environment of the SA telecommunications market, the core values of STC, their marketing strategy, etc. Analysis of STC is conducted using the models of the marketing mix, SWOT, Porter’s Five Forces and Porter’s Generic Strategies. The methods of the research are based on secondary data and primary data obtained from a questionnaire and personal survey of one hundred respondents Conclusions are made about a suitable marketing strategy that STC can use in the future to support the process of privatisation, recommendations are suggested about the best solutions to implement this strategy.
