A literature review covers the history of ATM development and deployment, ATM functions, applications and pricing, legislation related to ATM, future directions in ATM development, etc. Structural analysis of the industry is conducted using Porters Five Forces model. Conclusions are made about the value of ATM as part of delivery system framework.
