The dissertation investigates risk areas of Olympic Games (OG) with the emphasis on the London Olympics 2012. Literature is reviewed on the issues of risk management in the context of mega events including the types of OG risks, the problems of hosting OG, the history of financial failures during OG, etc. The methods of content-textual analysis are used including interpretation based on statistical analysis of variance (ANOVA), profiling, and reflection on OG related articles. Conclusions are made about the critical risk factors in the Olympic delivery mechanism.
