The dissertation examines the current level of employees’ satisfaction in UK financial services organisations before and after the global financial crisis. Literature is reviewed on the theory of employee satisfaction, ES in financial services, the factors that influence employee retention, the issues of talent management, the link between ES and business performance, etc. The methodology of the research includes analysis of secondary data and primary data collected via semi structured interviews. Conclusions are made about post-crisis versus pre-crisis satisfaction levels in employees of financial organisations. Recommendations are suggested about the ways to address the decreasing satisfaction levels of the employees engaged in financial services.
