The dissertation examines Manx national work ethics focusing on the corporate sector of the Isle of Man's working population. Literature is reviewed on the concept of work ethics, Manx history and culture, etc. A case study is conducted to investigate the perceptions of national Manx work ethic and their realisation through the corporate culture in the organisations on the Isle of Man. The methods of the research are discussed including primary data collection via interviews and e-mail questionnaires. Conclusions are made about the norms of the Manx corporate environment and employee's work ethic within Isle of Man corporations.
