The dissertation examines the effectiveness of the e-learning strategy of UK Business Schools in delivering academic programmes to overseas students. The review of literature touches on the concept of strategy, the strategic models of Porter's generic competitive strategies, Bowman's strategy clock, Ansoff and BCG matrix, Porter's value chain, Porter's Five Forces model, PEST and SWOT, globalisation drivers, the impacts of the Internet and information technology, e-learning University networks, etc. The methods of the research are based on secondary data and primary data obtained from questionnaires and interviews with international students at Bucks and Kingston Business Schools in the UK. Conclusions are made about the opportunities and challenges of implementing global education by e-learning.
