The dissertation addresses the management of information systems (MIS) explaining the concerns about the right choice of information systems (IS) to suit the purposes of the company, examining the differences in MIS between the private and public sector, etc. The review of literature touches on the theory of e-business, the impact of the Internet on companies' environment and marketing mix (4P) strategies, the importance of the right choice of strategy, etc. The methods of the research are based on qualitative analysis of secondary data and primary data collected from surveys and interviews with employees of several international agencies and companies. The areas of possible MIS improvement are identified recommending solutions to the existing problems.
