The paper looks at the possibility of computerisation in a small TVU hotel of London School of Hotel Training (LSHT) addressing the external and internal uses of information technology (IT) in the hospitality industry. The internal use of IT is considered to include property management system (PMS), e-learning platforms, videoconferencing and other computer services, the external IT use includes the internet, the wireless and mobile technologies and the global distributions systems (GDS). The paper concludes that IT introduction and computerisation will dramatically contribute to TVU success. A 13-slide presentation of the paper is supplied in a separate file.
