The dissertation looks at the relationships between buyers and suppliers in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry across different countries comparing FMCG buyer/supplier frameworks in India, Hungary and the UK. Literature is reviewed on the structure and background of the FMCG industry, supply chain theory, the nature of buyer/supplier relationships, etc. The methodology of the dissertation is based on secondary research. Conclusions are made about the correlation between the level of dependence in buyer/supplier relationships and the economic performance of the supply chain partnership.
