The paper addresses the management issues affecting UK charity organisations WWF-UK and RSPB as a result of the downturn in the economy. Difficulties of fundraising for charities are discussed along with the management challenges related to how the charities choose to fundraise, how they build their brands, and how they market themselves to build revenues. The study shows that marketing activities of RSPB are more successful providing recommendations for the WWF-UK to improve their practices.
