The paper examines the success of Nike in the 1990s identifying their core values, the elements of their competitive advantage, their subcontracting policies, etc. The effects of the bad publicity caused by the poor conditions in their sweatshops are analysed, the company's turn to the corporate social and environmental responsibilities is described.
