This dissertation aims to discuss industrial democracy practiced by the National Health Service (NHS). This is done in order to assess how it influences their employee’s moral and participation. The study begins by identifying the motivation for the research, followed by a thorough discussion regarding the research aims and questions. The review of literature focuses on topics like the concept of industrial democracy, the theoretical impact on organisations, and the impact of the concept on individual employees. Data for the study was collected through secondary literature analysis, case study analysis and interviews. The limitations to the research are highlighted. The findings are all analysed and evaluated, and the paper concludes by presenting recommendations for organisations.
