The aim of this report is to describe the outlook of the industry, describe the outlook of EK and to analyse in what way should EK go? The structure chosen for this report relates to three elements of strategic management. This report contains an analysis of the environment, this is done through a PEST analysis. Also included is the industry analysis. Tools used are the industry life cycle, five forces of competition and the KSF map, as these tools contain every aspect of the industry. The business analysis focused on Eastman Kodak is done by an analysis of the resources, the financial situation (WACC) and a competences map. Three strategic options are defined from Porter's generic strategies. A recommendation for the future strategy is the last part of this report.
