The dissertation investigates the HRM approaches to employee training in the UK hospitality industry focusing on the relationship between employee training and organisational performance of Hilton hotels. An overview of the company is presented, literature is reviewed on the theory and practices of talent management in the UK. The methods of the research are based on secondary data and primary data obtained from an online questionnaire distributed among Hilton student customers. Conclusions are made about the effects of employee training on the organisation suggesting recommendations about employee training strategies in Hilton hotel.
