The dissertation examines the effects of motivation on employee productivity and customer satisfaction in the United Arab Emirates’ national airline Etihad Airways (EA). Literature is reviewed on the background of EA and the theory of motivation discussing the influence of motivation on employee productivity. The methods of the research are based on secondary data and primary data obtained from a questionnaire distributed among EA staff and interviews with EA customers. Conclusions are made about the effectiveness of EA employee motivation practices, recommendations are suggested to the company management about the methods that can increase and maintain employee motivation and customer satisfaction.
