S/F/254. Financial Statement Analysis of EasyJet

WORDS:
1000
DATE:
2010
PRICE:
19.99 GBP

This paper examines the financial statement ratio analysis of the low-cost airline EasyJet. A financial ratio is the relationship that indicates the performance of each activity in the company. The paper also considers the company's strengths (competitive prices, wide choice) and weaknesses (heavy reliance upon people and technology, and thus possibility of strikes and technical faults), and offers an evaluation of the past two years' performance and assumptions on the factors influencing future performance. The results are based on the financial statement for 2008-2009. The paper looks at four key areas: profitability, liquidity, efficiency, and shareholder ratios. The future is also explored, in relation to projected economic demand for air travel, and macro-economic conditions beyond the company's control.
