This paper analyses Active Gear, Inc (AGI), a private footwear company and their consideration of possible acquisitions of Mercury Athletic, a sub division of West Coast Fashions Inc (WCF). The paper analyses the footwear industry overall, and then focuses on comparing both companies and by performing a financial comparison.
