S/T/11. The contribution that tourism has made to the economic development in a developing country (Cuba)

This paper describes tourism and its economic effects in the modern world. As an example, it analyses the contribution of tourism to the economic development in Cuba. The tourism impacts and activities were observed from positive and negative points of view; also some of the issues can be both positive and negative as they stimulate the economic development but at the same time they ruin social, cultural and environmental areas of Cuba. It was concluded, that tourism is one of the most important and integral parts of the economic development in the developing country.
