S/PS/142. Effects of Deep Processing and Intentional Learning of Words on Recall Performance both Individually and Simultaneously

The paper examines the effects of the levels of processing on memory arguing whether the intention to learn enhances memory performance. A study is conducted to support the theory of Craik and Lockhart; the methods of the research are described; the findings of the analysis are discussed. Conclusions are made confirming that deep processing leads to a better recall.
