S/OM/25. Importing Icelandic Shark from Iceland into the UK seafood market

This paper covers the basic principles of E-logistics and Supply Chain management, where by Students were asked to select a foreign based product that currently does not exist within the UK market. The objective of the coursework is to test the means and methods of logistical transportation, pricing, quotas, law, and of course feasibility of shipping an unknown foreign product from A to B (in this case Iceland to central London). The paper analyses the UK seafood market and transportation methods, and provides a brief overview of Iceland.
