Through the DEEPLIST (Demographic, Economic, Ecologic, Legal, Informational and Technologic) analysis, from a macro level, this report will examine factors within the remote environment and show how they influence supermarkets' operations. Moreover, Michael E. Porter's Five Forces, including the bargaining power of suppliers and buyers, potential threats from domestic substitutes and overseas entrants, and the intensity of rivalry, will focus on the structural determinants of the intensity of competition that affect the supermarkets' operations from a micro level.
