The review of literature touches on the agency theory and financial market efficiency, the institutional theory, the resource-depending theory, the theory of strategic choice, HR theory, value creation framework, etc. The methods of qualitative research are used including the analysis of the primary data obtained through observations, interviews and questionnaires. Conclusions are made about the benefits of merging strategic and human resource (HR) planning activities.
