S/EN/25. Manufacturing Dissertation: Rapid Prototyping in Engineering Research and Development

This paper gives an introduction rapid prototyping, then moves on to look at the use of rapid prototyping in both engineering research and development. The rest of the paper looks into the use of rapid prototyping in the house construction industry. This includes investigation into current construction, and current rapid prototyping development in the house construction market. The use of rapid prototyping for house construction is then further analysed including looking at all modern methods for rapid prototyping, cost and accuracy are analysed, and conclusions drawn.
