This dissertation aims to analyse, discuss and compare different approaches to Benefits Realisation/Management, "the process of organising and managing such that potential benefits arising from the use of IS/IT are actually realised". Dissertation looks into various approached to benefits management such as DMR's Benefits Realisation, Cranfield's School of Management approach, Active Benefits Realisation (ABR), Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) and Advanced Dynamic Programme Management 2 (ADPM2). Based solely on secondary research the dissertation provides extensive literature review and compared different approached outlining their strengths, weaknesses and other important characteristics.
