P/H/59. Impacts of immigration to London in 16th -18th centuries

The paper examines the contribution of immigrants to the development of London in the 16th Ï 18th century looking at the Catholic Church corruption, the split from Rome, the development of Protestantism, and the subsequent policies of Englands kings. Religious, industrial and cultural impacts of the increasing refugee flow to London are discussed.
