The dissertation aims to study the relationship between job satisfaction and job performance. A literature review covers the topics of occupational/organisational psychology including personality types and tests, predictors of contextual performance, factors influencing job satisfaction, etc. The correlation between personality variables and job performance/satisfaction is studied using the methods of multiple regression analysis. Conclusions are made about the role of gender and other variables in the personality Ï performance/satisfaction area.
