P/F/512. Value of portfolio construction: study of British Petroleum and GlaxoSmithKline’s stocks
(2006, 1500 words)
The paper examines theoretical approaches to portfolio construction applying them to the statistical analysis of the prices of British Petroleum (BP) and GlaxoSmithKline’s (GSK) stocks over 2004 – 2005. Conclusions are made about the advantage of investing in the portfolio rather than in the individual stocks.
