P/E/498. Dissertation. Slovakia: attractions for foreign investment

The dissertation investigates the reasons behind the attractiveness of Slovakia for foreign direct investment (FDI) conducting a case study of Slovakian business operations in Credit Suisse and the Bank of Scotland. The review of literature touches upon the issues of international business, the role of multinational enterprises (MNE), EU proliferation, economic situation in Slovakia, etc. The study is based on qualitative methods of primary data (interviews) and secondary data analysis. Conclusions are made about the factors behind foreign companies’ success in Slovakia.
