The paper reports on the Coffee Shop in town centre describing its history and background, and conducting PEST, Porter's five forces and SWOT analysis. Recommendations are made about the shop's risk management strategies. Assignment task for this paper was to "select a retail organisation or small business of your choice and write a summary report for the business that assesses their industry environment and their competitive position within it. Having established the major opportunities and threats explore how the organisation can exploit these opportunities and minimise the risk from identified threats".
