C/T/42. Dissertation. Tourism in Turkey: The Affect of EU Accession

This dissertation examined the implications that joining the EU would have on the tourism industry in Turkey. In particular, the functional, economic and social impacts of tourism on Istanbul were explored. In examining these implications, the dissertation looked at EU enlargement and the effect that this has had on candidate countries, the effect that EU enlargement has had on Turkey’s economy and the tourism industry in Turkey and Istanbul. The dissertation would be useful for anyone interested in EU enlargement and tourism, especially in Turkey.
