C/S/70. Social exclusion

The paper looks at vulnerable people and social exclusion focusing on teenage mothers. A definition of a vulnerable group (VG) is given explaining why VG are often socially excluded and considering the experiences and difficulties that vulnerable people may have, and their impact on the well being. It is discussed how health services at various levels try to help promote social inclusion.
