The paper addresses the issue of children's rights examining the stages of the family life cycle, and reviewing the strategies and legislative procedures introduced by the Labour Government to protect the rights of children. Principles stated in the government report 'The Children's Plan: Building Brighter Futures' are indicated and discussed. A power point presentation of the study is presented in a separate file.
