C/P/97. Differences between the intellectual positions of Ibn Sina and al-Ghazali

The paper examines the similarities and differences between the views of al-Ghazali and Ibn Sina discussing the philosophical traditions of the Greeks into explaining the existence of God, the influence of Sufism (mystical belief) on the beliefs of al-Ghazali; the rational approach to the existence of God, etc. Ibn Sina and Aquinas' arguments for the existence of God are considered arguing the relevance of al-Ghazali and Ibn Sina's ideas and the role of philosophy in theological arguments.
