Technologies implemented in the department are described highlighting the use of IT and IS within the framework of the 'Information for Health' strategy with the aims to introduce online information service, to identify the patients in all new systems, etc. The benefits of ITC and KM solutions for the department are outlined suggesting recommendations for the future.
