The medium-size company seeks to appoint a new project manager following the departure of previous project manager. The Company's manager decided that rather than to advertise for a project manager they will recruit from within the company and will make money available for the prospective project manager to be appropriately trained. Meantime the Company would also be looking at the following: What can be done to increase the chances of completing projects successfully? What are the skills of an effective project manager? How well the prospective project manager measured up to skills required for effective project management? And the prospective project manager can measure up to those skills?
