C/M/358. Managerial Roles: Making Decision and Leadership

This paper focuses on the debate of management Ï it is an art or science? The paper highlights that managers sometimes use his/her instinct to response to unexpected circumstances because the training is insufficient to cover every matter. Managers also sometimes achieve the target without following the rules, but not breaking the rules. The study analyses the managerial roles, which involves making decision and leadership. The study found that being a good manager should have a combination of both art and science.
