The paper examines the concept of cybercrime reviewing related international legislation e.g., the Convention on Cybercrime (COC), describing what constitutes cybercrime and looking at the methods of its policing in different countries. Implications of cybercrime policing for the human rights are discussed arguing whether the access of state authorities to personal Internet/e-mail accounts during a criminal investigation is a breach of individual's right to privacy.
