The dissertation investigates the relationship between organisational performance and employee training and development, focusing on small and medium sized firms in Kosovo. Literature is reviewed on the theory of HRM including the role of training and development in strategic organizational structures, employee participation, leadership, etc. Primary research is conducted through questionnaires and sampling. Conclusions are made about the relationship between organisational size and organisational performance, staff training support, and managerial skills. The limitation of this research are analysed; further research topics are suggested.
